Same Sex discrimination

Wow, people remain ignorant and backwards. I heard a reverend tonight on City TV say that he was concerned, it (same sex marriage) would lead to increased sexual promiscuity and to a new Soddom and Gomorrah (sp?). What planet are you from Reverend? The United States planet? Remember when we hated black people and women? I guess we'll have to wait as long to realize that everyone has rights. Not that black people and women are treated better everywhere, but at least treating them badly is frowned upon. One day that will happen with people of a homosexual persuasion as well. And then it won't be long before the right handed people set upon the left handed and try to get them registered and segregated. Is it just in our bloody nature?

It's just different folks. It doesn't affect you, or concern you. Just because it's not what you are, doesn't make it wrong! How presumptuous and self righteous is it to think that? Ignorant, fear filled Neanderthals. No offense to the Neanderthals of course. We don't really know what they were like. Hey, maybe we wiped them out! Sure, cuz they were different.

Website launch

Hiya folks, a friend of mine a filmmaker and writer / director has just launched his new website. You must check it out, if only for the breathtaking clips from his films. And also if you're into photography, damn, check out his 'people' section (my personal fave), cuz the boy has a good eye.

Also, brush your cats regularly or their hair will get into your powerbook. . . just finished wiping and blowing on mine. . .powerbook that is. . . rrr. . . And another also, I'm working on my own online sci fi themed show . . . 'Cosmic Journal'. Yup. Started as a faux show to generate demo material so I could apply for a position at the Space Channel, but I have a feeling it might go well with my own site. A way to draw the masses together and say something. . . anything. We desparately need to connect with each other don't we? If only to correct ones' spelling of the word 'desperate'.

peace out.

Christ!

How about these apples? They are now reporting that the original carbon dating of the Shroud of Turin, was done improperly and on a piece of cloth that was used to patch up the original shroud. And that that's how we get a carbon dating for medieval times! Sounds like another conspiracy to me. . . but what if they're right? Oh no! Then it might actually be Jesus? Well, i think we should look closely into who's saying what here. You never know who's agenda is pushing the information forward.

Well, as long as he doesn't have anything to do with this fellow, I'll keep an open mind!

And it would make me look really stupid too after that fight with the crazy lady in Starbucks a few months back! She told me that evolution had been debunked as a theory and I asked, 'what, like the Shroud of Turin you mean?'. She freaked on me that it had already been proven to be real, but I was certain that it hadn't. . . aw what's the use?! These people are crazy, we're right, they're wrong, it's that simple! Right?

On set

Spent ten hours on the set of a feature film, shooting here in Toronto yesterday. Met some interesting people, some hotter than others all fun. But if it had not been for my fellow Canadian actors, Kevin and Frank, it would have been a cold, boring day. These hollywood people really take their time doing things. I don't know why I'm complaining now. It's every once in awhile that I get this, 'what the hell am I doing' feeling. Ugh.

I can't get over all that standing around we had to do, just to say one line, in one bloody scene. God, the boredom and the time in my life that I'll never get back. I don't know how people do this for a living, I don't know how I've managed. I especially don't know how I'll continue to manage. . . looking for jobs as we speak.

End days

As a race, we have always been explorers. We go searching into the deepest jungles, the darkest oceans and the furthest reaches of our known universe. . . that's why this is sad news, especially when the space program is having success after exploratory success.
