Killers

It's a rainy Sunday and I have an hour before rehearsal today. Here is what's going on. . . you should totally check out boing boing. they have a plethora of interesting news items, from Robots to books about Killing Bush-not kidding, it's pretty cool stuff.
(The following is lifted right from boingboing.net and they got the story from the Independent)

"A new, 115-page fiction book from otherwise easygoing author Nicholson Baker features a pair of protagonists who discuss ways to assasinate George W. Bush. To threaten to kill the president in real life is illegal. To explore such a topic in fiction is presumably protected by the First Amendment." boing

Not much else going on, studying up on Vaudeville for this strange version of The Two Gentlemen of Verona. I really really hope I don't have to appear in blackface. I'm serious. I mean, it was part of Vaudeville, the minstrel show etc. . . but wasn't it offensive to African Americans, and is it right to be that accurate when you're trying to entertain people? It was offensive then, I think it will be offensive again today. We'll see what happens. It's only day four of rehearsals and I haven't had a one on one with the director about it yet.
