Rainy Day

Well, last night marked the first time that Clarke and I performed together on our own, since being part of a comedy troupe for so many years. . . so many years ago. And a special thank you to my girl for taking all that time to come out and video tape us and even pay for beer and snacks after, who's luckier then me? Poor thing was singing the songs in the shower this morning! At least we know it's catchy.

I have at least one picture up and you can check it here:

Beergut and Sandwich is the name of our co-creation.

Also some very exciting non political or maybe political now that I think of it, news! It's great for civilians anyway,
the first ever, privately sponsored and created manned space flight!! How Awesome is that? check it:

SpaceshipOne Launches June 21st 06:30am PDT

I should mention that we performed last night, at a fundraiser for friends Melissa and Katerina's fringe festival show. It's called Dolores and I'll put up more info about it soon. The entire night was a success I think, some incredibly funny and talented acts performed. The few that stand out in my mind were, Steve Puchalski, Vito Cazzo Lungo (aka Marco Timpano) and Frank Spadone. Oh shit and of course Heino (AKA Marc Hicox) and Perry Perlmutter hilarious.

Leaders Debate

Wow. Nobody wins. Ridiculous. Harper is scary in a George W. / Hitler kind of way. He stayed calm almost the entire night, until he had to repeat himself to Martin, who wasn't listening so much as reiterating his party platform. . . he wasn't doing much answering of direct questions either. Jack "russel" Layton was laying into Paul and Steve pretty heavy but not really affecting much I don't think, especially when he talked over Martin until Martin asked 'did you handlers tell you to talk non stop too?' or something to that effect. Paul, you're an idiot. What a jack ass thing to say, when you're talking about missiles. Sure jack was talking over you, but he was right and you were and have been wrong for years. Duceppe was great and calm and good at asking direct questions that rarely got answered. (did I spell his name right?).

My opinion, the Liberals are toast and all the political back pedaling in the world isn't going to save them. If Harper wins, we're toast. We won't be Canadians anymore, but Americans. May as well add a maple leaf to the stars and stripes, if you haven't already.

post script

Do not under any circumstances vote PC in Ontario. Good Lord, we'll be Republicans, and we've already seen how much damage they can do.

Chronicling movies

Wow. Chronicles of Riddick. Stupid- in a word. But lots of action fun. Nothing new, special effects heavy. Colm Feore pretty good, too bad he and Judy Dench wound up on this picture. . . "jack/Kyra" pretty and good at kicking ass (and that was probably a stuntwoman), that's about it.

Also, last day on Pete Rose was today. I'm done. I"m back in the gym. Doing a fundraiser on Wednesday night at Clintons. Should be fun, we're up first. The comedy of "Beergut and Sandwich". Nice.
