First Glimpse!

Hey folks, just to let you know that you will be able to catch a first glimpse of Showcase's up and coming comedic series "Rent A Goalie" (on which I play one of the goalies) on CTV, this Tuesday January 31st at 7pm on Etalk Daily. I'm told I'm something of a camera hog, so there's certain to be a shot or two of myself as we lead the etalk crew around the set and several cast members are interviewed. Hopefully will be fun little clip. Let me know if you watch and what you think!

The show is not due to air until fall 2006 on Showcase--we've still got three weeks left to shoot--but I guess the etalk people have a fast turn around on airing interviews. I hope they come back closer to airtime in the fall! Or maybe just re-air the segment.

Shooting in itself is going very well. We really did have a good time leading the etalk people (just two--Katie (hot!) and Donovan) on a tour of the set and they even sat in make-up with me while I had a nasty cut applied to my face!

Big Big hockey stars coming to the show soon! I can't believe this is nearly done, has to be the quickest shoot ever for a television show. By Feb 14th we will have completed 8 half hour episodes!

Interview with a Goalie

Today the IFC and Showcase are coming to conduct some interviews with the cast. I have not thought about what I will say, (publicist said we're supposed to) guess I'll just see what comes out and hope for the best. Tomorrow Etalk or someone is coming (?) I'll get the proper info and put it up here.

Couple of things, first I was excited about seeing this and it even appeared here !

Then I was shocked to see that Chris Penn died suddenly last night.

Election Day

Not much else to discuss but the election today. Shot a very long scene this morning for the show and it was fun and difficult, but got home early and napped and then voted. Also made sure that two other friends got out and voted.

Sadly, the conservatives have taken the election. At least it's a minority gov't. Moving to the right is the worst possible move Canada can make. Especially with the fundamentalist Christians right wingers running the fortress nation to the south. grrrr.

Long day tomorrow. Not only is it the first day of the new Canadian Nazi Regime, but I also have 8 or 9 scenes to shoot and after the shot I took from Tiger Williams today, I dunno if my ribs are up to it.

Busy Weekend

Busy weekend, and really busy thursday/friday last week. Followed by out partying with some cast and crew. Now getting ready for tomorrow. Will have some pics tomorrow night as well. Big scene first thing, I should get some sleep.
