Shopping around

So I've been looking at other blogs, there are some really cool things being done out there. Mine fits into the whiny, self obsessed teenaged girl category, so I'm going to do some different things. I got that category from an article about blogging I found in a digital magazine that fell out of a "Now" magazine in Toronto. I was thoroughly embarrassed. So I'm going to be working on putting up interesting things.

In fairness my blog started out to document my travels to BC and Los Angeles in search of acting work. Both were successes in their own way and by the by I just landed a small role in the Evel Knievel biopic shooting here in Toronto. I have one day of work, but that's the lot of Canadians.

Anyway, in the name of interest I'm putting up links to cool things and places.

Banking West

What the hell is going on? Even the UN says what Bush is doing is illegal. Who is going to make these bastards understand they can't just do whatever the fuck they want to do with the world? Get them out of Palestinian land and get the assholes out of Saddam's castle! Bastards. Any excuse to kill more innocent people in the name of Democracy, which has never truly existed on the planet!! Setting it straight

Russian again

Now I'm off to meet Clarke for a brew or two at the most. going to try and limit it to one for every two hours. Not interested in reruns. Hope class is good at the gym. Sofia will be working out hard and she needs that. I have nothing to make for dinner though. I should have left her something. I've just been all over the map today. Meeting with mutual funds people at the bank, that was a scary experience. What the hell kind of world do they live in? 10 years?! I've got to put my money away for ten years?! Thank you, no. Stupid. No wonder I avoided all those classes in high school. tha'ts a crazy fucking made up world they live in. . . economists, the problem makers of the world. If it weren't for them slowing things down, we'd have saved the planet by now. Stop consuming!! It's a trap.

Do you know that if all six billion of us (may have gone up by now) on the planet were to consume to the level that Canadians alone do, in order to live the lives that we do, we would need 4 or 5 planets exactly like Earth?! That's it for today. Does having beer mean I'm consuming? I'll look into that. What exactly goes into beer consumption and what's it's impact on the environment? Dunno. Let's think about it.

Messy wrapping job

So, my agent informed me that the production does not want to pay for my flight out there. And that they had cancelled the scene. Well, she was pretty upset because the casting people misunderstood and didnt' relay the entire message, that they were supposed to let her know so that I could have a choice in whether I would come out on my own or not.

Um...Joanne here for lunch. gotta go. and then audition and then meet robby. more later.

Unwrapped

So I got a call from my agent in Vancouver, asked me what I was doing later next week or earlier the week after that. Why? Cuz Dead Zone ain't done wit you yet boy. . . I gotta go back for one more day, at this point it's not clear if they will be paying for my flight out or no. Since I got the job as a local, they might expect me to just be there, but they did wrap me and knew where I was heading.

Then a few minutes later I called my agent here to let them know that something was up, to give them a 'heads up' as they say. And they told me they had a 'heads up' of their own to give me, I had gotten another part in something else and it starts on the 19th, so long as my Dead Zone didn't conflict it would be all good.

Other news, still looking at condos with ma/pa/girlfriend. She's off on a girls' night. She wanted me to come, but there's a girl there that she hasn't seen in ten years, why bring your boyfriend? She'll have a better time without me. And it'll give me a chance to clean this apt.!!

more later.
