Ishmael

The world was not made for any one species. You can compete in the community of life to the best of your abilities, but you may not wipe out your competitors, or take away their food or prevent them from getting to their food. Man thinks he was made to rule and conquer the planet. And that's our greatest mistake. We are and have been a part of the community of life on this planet for three million years. It's only in the last ten thousand or so that we decided we were so damned special, we even created gods and religions to prove to ourselves and future generations that the planet was given to us to rule over as we see fit. Some owners, we've practically destroyed it. And our culture is in a tail spin, we are destroying ourselves now and no prophet of any kind can make it happen differently.
