Charlie Hustle

That was/is Pete Rose's nickname since he was a kid. "Charlie Hustle". I will be updating this regularly again soon. Tomorrow is day one of my shoot on "Hustle" the Pete Rose story. I will have some interesting tidbits to report as Pete Rose is being played by 'bad boy' Tom Sizemore. That's coming up in an entry or two, I'll have to do some catch up as I didn't post about the read through where we were all present. I have to say, Tom's pretty . . . um. . . intense. Not pretty, just a little bit of a whack job. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would mind me saying so either.

He opened with, as we introduced ourselves around the circle of actors and director and various movie people, 'Tom Sizemore, not guilty. . . I'm playing Pete Rose.' Nipping it in the bud as they say. I personally was not up on the news, since I don't actually watch that kind of news program, but now I know.

Anyway, I play Fat Mike Bertollini and for those of you that know me, you'll think it's perfect but even at my current 232 pounds, that's right, 105.7 kilos, Peter Bogdanovich (director) asked me to try and get chubby. Um. . . fuck. I can't do anymore than I have and this last week before production, I have actually slimmed down some! I tried, but it's no good now that I'm vegetarian. Yup, started that two weeks ago, maybe three. No red meat, no chicken, no fish. Just all the goodness from God's own Earth, and organic stuff. Nothing with hormones or pesticides.
